 Dr. Price obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Emory University
in Atlanta, Georgia in 1979. He then served as a general dentist in the
United States Air Force for four years.
After his service, he chose to pursue a specialty certification in
periodontics and began a residency in 1983 at the Medical College of
Georgia in Augusta. After earning his specialist certification in
periodontology in 1985, Dr. Price began private practice in Arizona.
Dr. Price offers conservative treatment options with a focus on helping
patients keep their natural teeth for a lifetime. He is noted for his
personal attention to patients. This is summarized below by a member of

He always provides patients with what he feels is the best treatment option
for their health and comfort, but never pressures patients into active
treatment. He is attentive, often personally contacting patients or
their general dentists regarding treatment. Patients are informed of
their condition in a 'down to earth' fashion, and are always kept
well-informed."
Devoted to helping colleagues as well as patients, Dr. Price is actively
involved in academics. He participates in lectures and seminars
throughout the United States and currently serves as Professor of Periodontics
and Dental Implants at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health.
He also remains at the forefront of periodontal and dental implant technology
through continual advanced education, earning well above the required number
of continuing education credits.
Dr. Price is an active member of national and local professional
organizations, including:
- Arizona Society of Periodontists, (He is a former Society President)
- Western Society of Periodontists, (He formerly served on the Board of
Directors)
- American Academy of Periodontology
- American Dental Association
- Central Arizona Dental Society
- Academy of Osseointegration
On a Personal Note:
Dr. Price is married with two daughters. In his
free time, he enjoys playing tennis, biking, hiking and reading. When
possible, he applies his professional skills to community service projects.
